Murl and Ruth Gwynn

They have been married for over forty one years and have three children and eight grandchildren. Ruth is a retired Technical College officer and Murl served 21 years in the U. S. Army and is a retired Sergeant First Class.

About Murl

Murl Gwynn was called to be a pastor the day he was saved while in the U. S. Army in Korea in 1972.

While in the Army, Murl directed many soldiers to the saving knowledge of Jesus. He was also used to help others realize the healing power of Jesus' touch and to help free many from Satan's bondage.

After departing the military Murl and Ruth started Harvest of Life, a missionary ministry dedicated to giving God's word in electronic form to peoples of other countries. His teachings in the recording arts helped missionaries give God's word on cassette to peoples in Peru, Honduras, Guatemala, South Africa, and Sri Lanka.

He has been a minister of the gospel of our Lord for over thirty four years, He has been pastoring the same church for over thirty one years, He is a student of the Hebrew and Christian scripture, and has taught about world events, social changes, international and national upheavals, and religious and spiritual inroads that effect Christianity in general. He has traveled to over thirty countries, taught in the underground churches, and observed the cultures of those countries with their social, moral, political and spiritual makeup. He is a Christian theologian with a heart for God through His Son, Jesus. He is a student of the world, a child of God, and a student of scripture.

Dr. Gwynn has an earned Doctor of Theology degree.
